n A Children’s Singing Class will be conducted by Natasha Yufe on alternate Saturdays. The classes will include proper singing techniques, American folk music, patriotic and traditional songs, and possibly a musical. The classes are being sponsored by the Nipomo Recreation Department. n The City Church in Nipomo will hold its Easter Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday on the new church property, located off the 101 Freeway near the Los Berros and Thompson Road exit. The free festival is open to the public and will feature bounce houses, an animal petting zoo and a variety of game booths. The Egg Hunt Spectacular begins at 2 p.m. for children of all ages.

n Bible Study Fellowship International will hold Women’s Bible Study classes at 6:50 p.m. Mondays at Oak Park Christian Church, 386 N. Oak Park Blvd., Arroyo Grande. Sign-up for Matthew study is every Monday of the month. Classes are free.

n The Nipomo Optimist Club will host an event today at Boomers Amusement Park in Santa Maria. n A Legal Clinic for Self-Represented Litigants will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo Women’s Community Center, 800 Industrial Way. The clinic will have one-on-one legal advice for persons filing their own divorces. Clinic sessions are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

n CASA — Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, is looking for men and women to serve as advocates and mentors for abused and neglected children in the community. An information session for prospective advocates will take place at noon today in the CASA office in the Pacific Coast Center, 75 Higuera St., Suite 180, San Luis Obispo. The next training session begins in May.

n The Arroyo Grande Rotary Club will host the eighth annual Championship Poker and Blackjack Tournament at the Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Arroyo Grande.
The entry fee of $100 covers food and two drink tickets and $100 worth of chips to play either Poker or Blackjack. Food and drinks will be served at 5 p.m. Games will start at 6 p.m. Dinners for people who would like to attend but not play cards are available for $15 each.
