This summer, movie buffs are invited to attend Cinema Under the Stars complimentary movie screenings at the Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa at 2727 Shell Beach Road in Shell Beach.

Shows begin at 8 p.m. and continue every other Wednesday. Lawn seating opens at 7:30 p.m.

Movies scheduled to be shown are “Can’t Buy Me Love” July 2; “Sleepless in Seattle” July 16; “50 First Dates” Aug. 6; and “Hitch” Aug. 20.

An outdoor concession will offer caramel and truffle butter popcorn, licorice, Jelly Bellies, Wine Country Chex Mix, housemade English toffee, chocolate-dipped Santa Maria strawberries and a variety of hot and cold beverages, wine, cordials and cocktails.

A Dinner and a Movie package is offered for $49 per person. Guests will receive a three-course dinner featuring a choice of Piquillo pepper soup or Babe Farms spring green salad, herb-crusted prime flat iron steak, polenta-crusted Alaskan halibut filet or wild mushroom spring risotto, and blueberry ricotta cornbread pudding.

All dinners are prepared by Lido Restaurant along with preferred patio seating throughout the screening.

To make a reservation for dinner and a movie, call the Lido Restaurant at 773-8900. Reservations are not required for Cinema Under the Stars. Outside food, beverages and chairs are not permitted.
