Arroyo Wal-Mart makes donation to Boys and Girls Club of South San Luis Obispo

TPR Staff

The Boys and Girls Club of South San Luis Obispo recently received $1,000 from Wal-Mart of Arroyo Grande.

Wal-Mart will be the tournament sponsor for the Boys and Girls Club’s first charity golf tournament on Saturday.

Proceeds from the tournament will go to support programs for local youth.

Like most Boys & Girls Clubs across the United States, the local chapter has a mission to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The club, which provides services to more than 2,900 children and teenagers each year, has five locations throughout south SLO County.

For more information, call 481-4689.
